Domaine Champalou is a highly regarded family run winery located in Vouvray, in the heart of the Loire Valley, France. Founded in 1983 by Didier and Catherine Champalou, the estate has built a strong reputation for producing precise, terroir driven Chenin Blanc wines that reflect both tradition and purity. The vineyards, planted on the region’s characteristic clay limestone and tuffeau soils, benefit from a temperate climate that allows for slow, balanced ripening. Domaine Champalou follows a sustainable approach in the vineyard, focusing on soil health, manual harvesting, and careful parcel selection to preserve the integrity of the fruit.
