Founded in the 1920s by Claude Seigneuret and now led by Philippe and Guillaume Trébignaud, the estate combines generations of expertise with a modern, sustainability focused approach. The vineyards, spread across villages such as Bussières and Serrières, are planted on limestone rich soils with many old vines averaging 45 to 60 years. This unique terroir, combined with organic practices and living soils, produces wines that are vibrant, mineral driven, and expressive of their origin. Specializing in Chardonnay, Aligoté, and Gamay, Domaine de la Sarazinière follows a minimal intervention philosophy, using native yeasts, gentle extraction, and careful aging in stainless steel or neutral oak.
